It starts with an overview titled Crowdfunding Grows Up, points to The Pioneers in the space, describes How Crowdfunding Works today, looks at The Crowdfunding Bill (The Entrepreneur Access to Capital Act (H.R. 2930)), and concludes by looking at the naysayers.
In Getting Results From Crowds Chapter 16 covers Using Crowdfunding Platforms and Chapter 17 looks at Equity Crowdfunding, examining the four different models being used today for equity crowdfunding, and describing the state of equity crowdfunding in major jurisdictions around the world, including the US, Europe, Switzerland, and Australia.
